Emerging Leadership Academy

Running across two full days in September and October, The Emerging Leadership Academy is a central part of Mentoring Circle’s 12-month programme.

Research tells us conventional women’s development focuses on building confidence, while men’s concentrates on building business knowledge and acumen. Our leadership programme aims to address this imbalance while also meeting the development needs referenced in mentees’ application forms and feedback.

Typical structure:

Developing understanding of the self: Building better self-awareness via values, strengths, goals, and personal brand in order to improve presence and impact

Developing understanding of leading others: Building effective relationships, delegation, difficult conversations, team building

Developing business understanding: Financial, strategic and business acumen, business goals and your role in enabling these, examples and guidance from industry leaders
